Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast. She was also a captain for the US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. She was named the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze on the balance beam. She was the only American to earn many Olympic medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won a silver medal in the team event, which gave her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being as the only Americans to earn back-to-back teams gold medals. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around and floor exercise. Between her two Olympics, she took a break. She won gold in the Olympics. American team also took home 2 World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is doing floor exercises.
